"We support President Mbeki's efforts to expand the discussion of HIV and AIDS in South Africa to include dissenting views on the causes, treatments and diagnosis of AIDS."
We support President Mbeki's courageous stand to insist on a public reappraisal of AIDS. Demonstrations are planned on April 27 in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto and London to support South Africa in this enterprise and these words pledge our support in France. AIDS and HIV are artificial concepts defined by political, moral and economic pressure and not by rigorous, ethical scientific scrutiny. A growing group of dissenters have been questioning the HIV / AIDS dogma since the beginning of the crisis. Many questions have been raised which have been refused public debate. These questions include : 1) Where is the proof of the existence of HIV ? There is no proof of the isolation of this viral entity by the traditional criteria of virology. And certainly none outside the laboratory test-tube.These are some of the questions that must be asked and publicly answered if we are to see the beginning of the end of one of the greatest medical and scientific tragedies of our times. We encourage and implore the South African people to become world leaders in refusing the immoral exploitation of an artificially created disease definition. Your country has the means to solve the problems of poverty, malnutrition and disease by humanitarian means. Outside the fear and bullying created by the pseudo-science of the pharmaceutical giants. Your courage can light the way for others to take the path of freedom from fear, manipulation and economic greed in the domain of world health. For our children and our children's children. Mark Griffiths and Etienne de Harven, 23 / 04 / 2000. Mark Griffiths P.S.
